If flexing muscles are your thing, then Dublin's Liberty Hall is the place to be this evening. The Irish Amateur Bodybuilding Association are holding their national championships in six categories, from first timers to masters and even a Miss Figure.
There is also a special flavour to this year's show in that competitors in the open section will compete for the Steve Reeves memorial trophy. Reeves recently passed away at age 74 and as well as being one of the pioneers of bodybuilding back in the 1940s, he was also the star of such films as Hercules (1957), The Last Days of Pompeii (1960), and Pirates of the Seven Seas (1964). The show starts at 6.30.
