Limerick SH Semi-finals: Patrickswell left it very late to secure victory by 3-11 to 1-16 in their Limerick senior hurling championship semi-final clash with Croom - substitute Willie O'Dea levelling it up with a goal in injury-time before Eoin Foley sent over the match winning point just seconds later.

Croom had led by eight points at one stage but Patrickswell, going for a record equalling 19th county title, refused to give in.

Croom, with a ninth minute goal from Hugh Flavin, led 1-10 to 1-6 at the break, with Timmy Sheehan claiming the winner's goal on 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, former All Star Stephen McDonogh is just 60 minutes away from picking up his first senior hurling championship medal after inspiring Bruree, who will play Patrickswell in the final, to a 1-14 to 0-14 victory over Doon.

McDonogh was outstanding at centre back, while Stephen O'Halloran scored a tally of 1-9.
