Ballinderry will be hoping to put last weekend's defeat in the Derry county football final behind them when they defend their Beamish All-Ireland Football Sevens title in Glenalbyn on Saturday.
The tournament will feature 48 teams in 12 groups, with each group playing on a league basis and the winner then qualifiying for the knockout stages. The group matches start at 11 a.m. in four different venues - Kilmacud's home venue at Glenalbyn and near-by Silverpark, Clonkeen College and St Benildus College. The knockout stages will conclude at Glenalbyn, with the final scheduled for 6.30 p.m.
