Wexford 0-16 Tipperary 0-7:Wexford may have bounced back from their opening day defeat but manager Paul Bealin is still left with many questions to answer.
With the air cleared following their defeat to Waterford, and with Matty Forde and Diarmuid Kinsella dropped to the substitutes' bench, Wexford struggled through the opening 35 minutes at Wexford Park with Tipperary still in contention despite being 0-8 to 0-5 adrift at the break.
Tipperary were handed a lifeline when Kinsella was dismissed on a straight red car following an off-the-ball incident after he was brought on. They responded with three points in succession to be 0-11 to 0-6 down after 45 minutes.
The introduction of Forde after 50 minutes proved crucial. He made an immediate impact by scoring three points, with the visitors having to wait until the 30th minute for their final score, a Declan Browne pointed free.
