Four Roads 1-14 Athleague 0-6:FOUR ROADS became the first Roscommon side to claim four consecutive hurling titles after an 11-point win over Athleague.

Despite playing against the strong wind Four Roads went in leading by 0-5 to 0-3 at half-time and they surged to victory in a one-sided second-half.

Johnny Coyne pounced for the only goal of the game in the 37th minute and Four Roads were never in danger after that.

Shane Curley, who finished with a tally of 0-5, Mark McLoughlin and Micheal Kelly all impressed for the winners.
