Kieren Fallon boosted his championship claims in no uncertain terms when landing a 103 to 1 four-timer at Hamilton Park yesterday. The high-flying Irishman moved onto the 167 mark for the campaign after scoring on Totem Dancer, Jacmar, Tyrolean Dream and Macca Luna.

Fallon said: "I ended up having a ride in all seven races here but I was originally only coming for Open Credit for Mr Cecil.

"Ironically Frankie's only winner down at Bath, Brigand was meant to be one of my rides there!

"There's six weeks left of the season and I would never have been letting up whether I was involved with the championship or not. Whether it is a seller, Group race or maiden I'll be going all out right to the end."

Totem Dancer advertised her chances for the Tote Cesarewitch when landing the opening Bill McHarg Memorial Handicap at Hamilton Park.

Patiently ridden, the Mtoto filly came from off the pace to catch long-time leader Lord Advocate well inside the final furlong to score by a length and three quarters.

Totem Dancer's trainer Les Eyre said: "That was just a nice blow for her after a 58 day break - the real target is at Newmarket over two and a quarter miles a fortnight on Saturday.

"She will have 7st 5lb plus a 4lb penalty in the Cesarewitch and I would like to see Tyrone Williams ride her."

Linda Perrett took her personal best Flat score to 15 when Jacmar landed the Lord Hamilton of Dalziel Final Nursery - at £12,000-added the richest race of the season staged at the Lanarkshire track.

Jason Weaver will be out of action for the next three days as he undergoes an operation to remove four wisdom teeth. The jockey's agent David Craig said: "It's a problem which has been bothering him for some time."
