Wexford 0-22 Dublin 1-17 (AET – 0-15 to 1-12 after normal time):A 15-POINT haul from Adamstown's Tony French helped Wexford pip Dublin at Parnell Park last Saturday afternoon.
Oisín O’Rorke’s third-minute goal and points from Paul Winters, James Roche and Cormac Costello helped Dublin to a seven-point lead by the 10th minute.
Six frees from French helped cut Dublin’s lead to just three points by the interval. Wexford led by three with five minutes to go but late scores from Seán McClelland, Roche and Winters secured extra-time for the hosts. But four frees from French helped seal Wexford’s semi-final spot.
