France v New Zealand: France have made seven changes to the team that was thrashed 47-3 by New Zealand for Saturday's second Test against the All Blacks in Paris

"We have selected a team which will try to rebel, to restore our pride and bounce back after an infuriating defeat," manager Jo Maso said. "The France team we saw last Saturday in Lyon is not the team who must represent France at the World Cup. The real France team is the team which defeated South Africa (21-16) last summer, not the team which got such a hiding."

The French will start the second Test at the Stade de France with a new captain and a new halfbacks pairing, the 27th named by coach Bernard Laporte since he became national coach after the 1999 World Cup.

In the pack, Wasps hooker Raphael Ibanez replaces Dimitri Szarzewski and takes over the captaincy from lock Fabien Pelous, who has a rib injury.

In the back line, Jean-Baptiste Elissalde takes over at scrumhalf from Dimitri Yachvili alongside outhalf Damien Traille. Cedric Heymans edges out Christophe Dominici on the left wing and Pepito Elhorga is selected at fullback ahead of Julien Laharrague.
