Television football pundit Jimmy Hill may have confused readers in the last edition of Match of the Day magazine. In a question and answer routine with the programme's presenter, Des Lynam, Hill was asked what he might have taken up had he not become a professional footballer with Fulham.
"When I was in the boys brigade at 15, we used to mix with the girls after Bible class and things like that. They used to call me `humour boy' because I'd always been looking for the funny remark. I would love to have been a stand-up comic."
You are Jimmy. You are. And you've one of the best slots on television.
