Dublin to meet Kerry on opening weekend of Allianz Football League

Dublin will open their Allianz Football League campaign against Kerry on the first weekend in February, the GAA announced this afternoon.

The defending champions will stage the clash under lights at Croke Park on Saturday, February 1st with a 7pm throw-in at GAA headquarters.

Kilkenny will open the defence of their hurling league title against All-Ireland champions Clare on Sunday, February 16th. The venue for that match has yet to be confirmed although it is likely to take place at Nowlan Park.
