CONNACHT LEAGUE: Galway's start to the season went from bad to worse when they were caught with a rally by Sligo IT in the final of the Connacht SF League in Tuam yesterday.

In the other semi-final, a goal in each half by Shane Griffin earned Ardfert of Kerry a place in the final, but they had to work hard to beat Confey of Kildare, 4-7 to 1-9, in Limerick.GAADigest
