CAMOGIE: The colleges took centre stage this weekend with three senior All-Ireland titles up for grabs - though only two were decided as the premier title clash, between St Mary's, Charleville, and Presentation, Athenry, finished 2-5 each.
Both teams showed great hunger for glory as Charleville were seeking their first title since 2002 while Presentation had to go back as far as 1978 for their last victory.
The B final - played on Oliver Plunkett's pitch in Mullingar - saw St Fergal's of Rathdowney defeat St Patrick's of Keady, 2-9 to 2-4.
In the C final, Coláiste Choilm of Ballincollig beat Gort Community School, 1-6 to 1-2.
Meanwhile, in the National League, Wexford showed a real hunger for success with a 2-12 to 1-7 victory over Kilkenny in Division One A.
And Cork can now jet off happily on their trip to Egypt, after they maintained their unbeaten run in Division One A following their 3-8 to 1-8 victory over the 2005 league champions Galway in Duggan Park yesterday. The only other Division One game saw Tipperary defeat Limerick 4-16 to 0-8.
ULSTER UNDER-21 FC: Justin McMahon, younger brother of senior star Joe, inspired Tyrone to a 0-10 to 0-6 victory at Ballybofey on Saturday. Playing at midfield, McMahon hit five points, four of them from play, as Tyrone saw off the challenge of Donegal.

Cork led by two points at the break, 0-9 to 1-4.

WOMEN'S FOOTBALL: The All Stars touring party were handed pride of place in Singapore's first St Patrick's Day parade yesterday.
The players will visit local schools again today for coaching sessions with the pupils - many of whom turned out on Saturday to watch the 2004 All Star team beat their 2005 counterparts.
