Pádraig McGirr with a point for Errigal Ciarán. To their credit, the Tyrone champions have really rallied in this second half.
Darragh Canavan is sitting in the stand, in full tracksuit gear. Sadly, it doesn’t look like he will be coming back on the field. Such a pity.
52mins: Cuala 3-13 Errigal Ciarán 1-14
A nice free by Thomas Canavan, off his left from out under the Cusack Stand.
Here is Peter Harte’s goal - a strike that has provided Errigal Ciarán with some hope at Croke Park.

33mins: Cuala 3-9 Errigal Ciarán 0-8
Errigal Ciarán with the opening three points after the restart - from Peter Harte, Thomas Canavan and Ciarán McGinley. They needed to come out like this. Have to harness the momentum now and try pen Cuala in, if possible.
Attendance announced as 31,267. Though, looking around the stadium, it’s fair to say most of the Na Fianna and Sarsfields fans have already left Croke Park at this stage.
HALF-TIME: Cuala 3-9 Errigal Ciarán 0-5
The Dublin Double is on here at Croke Park today.
The concession of three first-half goals leaves Errigal Ciarán with a huge mountain to climb in the second half. They allowed Cuala in way too easily for those goals. Cuala look comfortable all over the pitch - they are dominating in the middle third and carry a far more potent attacking threat. Errigal Ciarán will hope Darragh Canavan can return for the second half but right now it is difficult to see them reeling in such a gap. It was all too easy for Cuala in that first half. But credit to the Dublin champions, they have taken their chances and nullified the Errigal Ciarán threat at the other end of the field.
34mins: Cuala 3-9 Errigal Ciarán 0-5

Thomas Canavan with a free, followed quickly with a point from play by Odhran Robinson.
29mins: Cuala 3-7 Errigal Ciarán 0-3
Ó Cofaigh Byrne with a point. It was all too easy for him to burst through the middle of the Errigal Ciarán defence before popping over a score, unchallenged.
27mins: Cuala 3-6 Errigal Ciarán 0-3
Joe Oguz and Ruairí Canavan with a point apiece. But it looks a long way back for Errigal Ciarán already.
25mins: GOAL!! Cuala 3-6 Errigal Ciarán 0-1
Peadar Ó Cofaigh Byrne with Cuala’s third goal. The chance was created by Con O’Callaghan, with Ó Cofaigh Byrne finishing soccer style to the net. Wow, some start by Cuala.
The Tyrone champions look shell-shocked right now. They find themselves 11 points down and are kicking balls away here. They need to find energy from somewhere and quickly.
21mins: Darragh Canavan down injured. Looks like a possible concussion, hopefully he’ll be okay when the medics check him out. Temporary sub made by Errigal Ciarán.

Hello and welcome to live coverage of the All-Ireland club football final between Cuala and Errigal Ciarán, kick-off is at 3.40 from Croke Park. The match will see some of the best players in the country go head to head, Cuala featuring Con O’Callaghan and Errigal Ciarán featuring the Canavan brothers. Here is Seán Moran’s preview to get us started.
“A return to times past with a couple of teams making a first appearance at this level. Neither have had things easy en route to this weekend. In last week’s semi-final, Errigal were seconds from elimination before Peter McCartan’s point brought extra time.
If the Canavans are a clear and present danger for Cuala, the Dubliners’ family firm, the O’Callaghan’s, have played a big role. Niall sparked in the impressive win over Naas but Con has been exceptional.
“At the end of last week with the team a man down and the scoreboard tight, it was he who not only kicked vital frees but also drifted to catch two restarts in the closing minutes.
“This has all the look of a cliffhanger. Maybe having a five-star general at the back as well as up front plus greater pace swings it to Cuala.”
