Cork make eight changes ahead of Tyrone game

Former under-21 goalkeeper David Hanrahan to make his senior debut at Páirc Uí Rinn

Cork have made eight changes to the side that lost to Mayo ahead of their game with Tyrone at Páirc Ui Rinn on Sunday (2pm).

David Hanrahan will make his senior debut in goal, having been the under-21 goalkeeper last season.

His Douglas clubmate Eoin Cadogan moves to right corner-back, with Tom Clancy filling the full-back berth in front of the young goalkeeper. Noel Gavin replaces Kevin Crowley at corner-back

Tomás Clancy reverts to wing back in Conor Dorman’s stead, while James Loughrey returns to the side in place of Alan Cronin on the other side.

Michael Shields is selected at centre back, while in midfield Fintan Goold is preferred to Andrew O’Sullivan and John O’Rourke, a goalscorer against Mayo, replaces Colm O’Driscoll.

Mark Collins is named at wing forward and John Hayes is preferred to Donncha O’Connor.
