Donegal will be at full strength when they face Tyrone in Sunday’s Ulster football quarter-final in Ballybofey after the return of a trio of key stars to the starting XV.

Jim McGuinness will welcome Karl Lacey, Mark McHugh and Frank McGlynn back into the fold after all three proved their fitness.

Lacey, the 2012 footballer of the year, will take his place at centre back having recovered from the hip surgery he underwent before Christmas. He has yet to feature for his county this season, but his return this weekend will be timely after a disappointing league campaign.

Hamstring issues have hampered both McHugh and McGlynn this year but their inclusion, along with Lacey, means the home fans will see the team that started last season’s triumphant All-Ireland final against Mayo for the first time since.
