By beating Clare at Cusack Park Ennis yesterday, the Limerick footballers topped Division Four and achieved promotion and will now face Offaly in the divisional final on April 27th. Limerick playing with a strong wind in the opening half, lead by 0-6 to 0-4 at the break.Clare reduced the margin to just a point (0-8 to 0-7) by the 43th but Donal O'Sullivan saved superbly from David Tubridy's penalty handing the impetus to the visitors. Three unanswered points by Ian Ryan, Eoghan O'Connor and Ger Collins settled nerves before Ryan goaled in the 59th minute.
