St Vincent's and St Oliver Plunkett's/Eoghan Ruadh advanced to the Dublin Senior Football Championship final after respective semi-final wins over Ballyboden St Enda's and St Jude's respectively last Saturday afternoon.

Diarmuid Connolly inspired the holders to a 1-17 to 1-10 win over St Enda’s, hitting 1-6 from play including a sublime goal from Shane Carthy’s pass in the 35th minute.

St Vincent's led by 0-8 to 0-6 at the break with Connolly illuminating the clash with five sublime points from play while Sam Molony proved Boden's shining light with three points in reply.

A Conal Keany goal after 51 minutes offered Ballyboden a modicum of hope but Vinnies powered home through late scores by Mark Loftus, Cormac Diamond and Eamon Fennell.
