Fermanagh; 2-9  Mayo; 1-9A goal of sublime quality by Fermanagh's Raymond Gallagher in the second-last minute of a memorable match at Brewster Park ended Mayo's two-year unbeaten run in the league.

The defending champions had already qualified for the play-offs but Fermanagh had to win by three points to maintain their hopes of qualifying.

Mayo had battled hard all afternoon and they had levelled the match at 1-9 each when David McDonagh scored their goal just a minute before Gallagher's strike.

But Fermanagh had the final say, creating a move that involved three players for one of the best goals seen at the ground. It began with Kieran Donnelly providing his captain Raymond Johnson with a pass and he in turn fed the ball to Gallagher on his left and the corner forward rifled home an unstoppable shot from close range.
