Ballinrobe's Ann Galvin is red hot at the moment and cleaning up in the prizes at the Co Mayo club. Having been second a couple of weeks back in the weekly singles where her 36 points total was three short of winner Mary Molloy, she bounced back to win her next two singles events.

The day after finishing second to Molloy, she went one better when shooting 41 points to be four points clear of second placed Catherine O'Toole, while only last weekend her score of 72 was once again good enough for top prize in the singles competition.
