Women's football: All-Ireland finalists Galway and Dublin dominated the selections for this year's O'Neills/TG4 women's Football All Stars, with both earning four awards.
National League winners and defeated All-Ireland semi-finalists Mayo received three awards while first-time Munster champions and league finalists Cork received two. Kerry and Ulster champions Monaghan received one All Star.
Champions Galway were represented by captain Annette Clarke, forward Lisa Cohill and defenders Ruth Stevens and Emer Flaherty.
Na Fianna duo Mary Nevin and Bernie Finlay, goalkeeper Cliodhna O'Connor and defender Louise Keegan were the Dublin selections.
The Provincial Young Player of the Year went to: Leinster - Fiona Hudson (Fingallians); Ulster - Caitriona McConnell (Donaghmoyne, Co Monaghan); Connacht - Therese Marren (Curry, Co Sligo); Munster - Laura Power (Beara, Co Cork).
Galway native Mick Fitzgerald, the most successful manager in women's football and who steered Kerry to a nine-in-a-row, was chosen for the Hall of Fame.
A former president of the association (1982-'85) and treasurer for 17 years, he has been involved in women's football since the women's Gaelic Football Association was founded 30 years ago.
