Galway United and Drogheda United shared the spoils on a heavy sodden surface at Terryland Park yesterday.
It was scoreless at the break but three minutes after the interval the visitors took the lead when Dai Thomas scored his first goal since he joined the Boyne-siders on loan from Cardiff City.
Galway United levelled on 57 minutes when Daragh Sheridan got his first goal for the club.
Within four minutes Galway United took the lead when Eric Lavine swept the ball past O'Neill.
Drogheda United secured their ninth draw in the league when Greg O'Dowd sent a corner from the left which was met by Darren O'Keeffe who gave Eddie Hickey no chance with a powerful header.
