Garrycastle 1-14 Clonguish 0-15/After extra-time 1-8 to 0-11 at end of normal time:AFTER SNATCHING a draw with a fisted point from Enda Mulvihill to force extra-time, Westmeath champions Garrycastle eventually got the better of Longford's Clonguish at Pearse Park.

Clonguish regained the lead in extra-time when Joe O’Brien shot over but Garrycastle then enjoyed a dominant spell that yielded four points without reply to lead by 1-12 to 0-12.

While Paul Barden narrowed the gap, Duignan was on target again before Colin Clarke converted a free for Clonguish. Another point from the David Barden left a one-point margin but Dessie Dolan fired over to seal victory.
