At a time when there is a paucity of potential international wings, compounded by injuries to James Topping and Niall Woods, young UCD speedster James Norton is establishing a fine reputation. The former Irish schools' international is currently making an impression with the national under-21 team, scoring a try in the recent international against Scotland at Ravenhill.

Norton arrived from schools' fare laden with potential and on brief glimpses this season, Planet Rugby believes that he has the ability to eventually make the senior grade. Quick and with good balance, Norton is a powerful runner and a decent defender and it will be interesting to see how he copes with the challenges ahead.
