Terenure College- 10, St Paul's, Raheny - 3
Terenure outhalf Conor Gildea scored a killer try four minutes before full time at Anglesea Road yesterday. He then kicked the conversion to kill off St Paul's hopes.
In the first half, Terenure's pack looked skilful and organised, but they failed to take their chances. The led 3-0 at half-time from a Gildea penalty in the 10th minute.
Terenure flanker Andrew Walsh was at the heart of everything in both halves but was well matched by St Paul's number seven Gareth Reynolds.
St Paul's produced the best move of the day, but centre Conor Keegan was stopped just a metre from the line. St Paul's kicked a penalty from the subsequent ruck.
