Substitute Leighton Glynn's late goal helped Wicklow pip Kildare 4-12 to 2-17 at Dr Cullen Park, Carlow yesterday while in the other Division Two semi-final Laois beat Westmeath by 3-18 to 2-20 in Tullamore.

Kildare led 2-9 to 1-8 at half-time with Billy White and Oisín Lynch getting the their goals and Jonathan O'Neill netting for Wicklow. But second half goals from Wayne O'Gorman, John Kennedy and Glynn proved crucial for Wicklow.

John Brophy was the hero for Laois as his winning point in injury-time helped them pip Westmeath by a point.

Meanwhile, in the Division Three semi-finals, both played at Breffini Park yesterday, Roscommon beat Tyrone by 1-22 to 1-8 and Sligo had a 2-10 to 1-11 victory over Longford.
