CORK SHC SEMI-FINAL: Sarfields 4-18 Cork IT 0-20:HOLDERS SARSFIELDS qualified to meet Newtownshandrum in the Cork final following a merited 10-point win over Cork IT at Páirc Uí Chaoimh yesterday.

Cork footballer Michael Cussen grabbed one of two quick-fire goals before half-time to help the holders lead 2-8 to 0-11 at the interval and a third goal after the break from Pat Ryan sealed matters. Sub Garvan McCarthy added a fourth near the end. Adrian Mannix scored 0-15 for CIT.
