Godolphin are considering supplementing Ribblesdale Stakes winner Fairy Queen for the Kildangan Stud Irish Oaks at the Curragh on Sunday week at a cost of £25,000.

Racing manager Simon Crisford said: "It's a race we would like to run her in and we are very happy the way Fairy Queen has come back from her Ascot success.

"She has worked since then and will work again next week."

Godolphin may have to look for a substitute jockey for Frankie Dettori whose suspension imposed last weekend by the Curragh stewards includes the date of the Oaks. But Dettori's appeal will be heard by the Irish Turf Club on Monday.

Meanwhile, Kevin Prendergast confirmed that Polaire, who won the Independent Newspapers Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh last Saturday, would be supplemented on Tuesday.

"She's in good shape," he said. "And I'm hopeful that she'll give me my first Irish Oaks win."

Henry Cecil is upbeat about the chances of Vodafone Oaks winner Ramruma completing an Oaks double.

"Ramruma looked well on Saturday and especially yesterday and she's in good order," said Cecil.

"I'm hopeful that she will repeat her win at Epsom and I am certainly very pleased with her. At present she appears to be on the upgrade and I will work her again at the weekend."
