Conspiracy theorists of the world can stand down. Tiger Woods did not lose a tooth during a bar brawl with Rory McIlroy or after attempting some DIY dentistry.

Instead, Woods tooth was knocked out by a cameraman, according to the golfer's agent, Mark Steinberg. Woods was in Italy on Monday to watch his girlfriend, Lindsey Vonn, win a world record 63rd World Cup title.

“During a crush of photographers at the awards’ podium at the World Cup event in Italy, a media member with a shoulder-mounted video camera pushed and surged towards the stage, turned and hit Tiger Woods in the mouth,” Steinberg said in a statement. “Woods’s tooth was knocked out by the incident.”

Woods covered the injury with a scarf after the accident but photos of his new smile eventually emerged. Woods is due to appear at the Phoenix Open next weekend.
