Gonzaga - 32 King's Hospital - 10: Gonzaga College had too much class out wide for King's Hospital in a convincing 32-10 win at Barnhall yesterday.
Full back Neil Hanratty and wing Niall Holleran shared four of the six tries and Jimmy Morgan, on the other flank of the Gonzaga attack, also got in on the scoring act.
Hanratty and Holleran carved through the King's Hospital defence in the first half, while Will McEvoy was successful with one of his two conversion attempts to give Gonzaga College a 12-0 lead at the half-time break.
Hanratty's second try, which came after the ball went loose in midfield, killed off any prospect of a revival from King's Hospital.
Gareth Fitzgerald, Morgan and Holleran finished off three more moves before Andrew McElwee's consolation try near the end.
