Good Counsel 0-12 Dublin North 0-9:The accuracy of John Walsh proved decisive as he struck eight points to inspire Good Counsel College to a surprise three-point victory over Dublin North in Waterford on Saturday afternoon.

Showing a much-changed outfit from that which played in the league section, Good Counsel College came into this game as underdogs, but throughout the 60 minutes showed their battling qualities as they set about upsetting their highly rated opponents.

As the second half wore on the struggle for Dublin North became more apparent as they were finding scoring difficult. Still points from Gray and AJ Murphy kept them in contention.
