AIDAN DUFF had a good win in France on Sunday

AIDAN DUFF had a good win in France on Sunday. In the top event in Brittany, Duff was out on his own at the end of the 198 kilometres at Redon, a minute and four seconds ahead of Jean Pierre Rouxel.

Duff, formerly of Bray Wheelers and now riding with the Vendee U team, went with a breakaway group of 16 after 26 kilometres and they opened up a lead of over six minutes on the main pack. With 16 km to go, Duff and Rouxel forged ahead and on the finishing circuit Duff launched his winning attack.

Meanwhile, Martin Earley finished second in the British mountain bike series race at Mansfield on Sunday, beaten by Richard Thackery.
