GOLF: Retiref Goosen continued to set new boundaries for himself by firing his second 63 within a week to earn the world number seven the first round lead in the Dimension Data Pro-Am, which is played over two courses in Sun City, South Africa.
Goosen followed up his 63 in the Johnnie Walker Classic with another round of nine-under par at the Lost City golf course yesterday.
Goosen leads from Graeme Storm, Scott Drummond and Andrew McLardy, who all carded rounds of 66 on the Gary Player Country Club course.
Darren Clarke, who was suffering from a stomach virus, and Paul McGinley and James Loughnane returned 73s at the Gary Player course.
