Gorey CS continued their impressive winning run as they pulled off a comprehensive victory over a luckless Wexford CBS side at Enniscorthy. It was a frustrating game for the Wexford town side who were unfortunate to come up against a highly talented team.
Gorey made all the running as they crossed the line for 10 tries despite the best efforts of the CBS boys.
Gorey produced several nice moves early on with full back John Redmond proving outstanding. After Liam Redmond had scored the opening try after seven minutes Gorey went on to lead 38-0 at the break.
The total haul of tries came from L Redmond (three), M McDonagh (three), T O'Scanan, K O'Rourke, D McAndrew and P Redmond, with L Jones landing nine conversions; for Wexford CBS, J Browne scored a consolation try.
