Three cheers for St Michel United of the Seychelles. Last week the team from the Indian Ocean island won through to the first round of the African Cup Winners' Cup, winning a penalty shoot-out at the end of their preliminary round tie. The victory was the first in the competition for a team from Africa's smallest country and helped erase memories of compatriots Anse Boileau's 12-1 setback in a Cup Winners' Cup match nine years ago - the biggest defeat in the tournament's history.
