Cobh Ramblers 1 Finn Harps 3: FINN HARPS picked up their first away win of the season at St Colman's Park, at the expense of their fellow strugglers.

Cobh made a bright start and had a number of chances to take the lead within 15 minutes, the best of which fell to striker Gareth Cambridge. But he was unable to beat Gavin Cullen in the Harps goal from close range.

The visitors took the lead against the run of play in the 22nd minute when a Shaun Williams corner from the right was bundled over by Chris Breen at the far post.

Harps doubled their advantage after 37 minutes courtesy of Stephen Parkhouse's spectacular low drive from 25 yards which gave Anthony Fennelly no chance.

But Cobh got back in the game on the stroke of half-time when Brian McCarthy was brought down in the box by Shaun McGowan. Centre-half Kevin Murray converted from the spot.

Declan Boyle almost restored Finn Harps' two-goal lead in the 62nd minute but his powerful header from another Williams corner rebounded off the crossbar.

The Donegal side wrapped up the win in 83rd minute when full-back Marc Mukendi cut the ball back from the left to allow Parkhouse to finish to an empty net.
