Two late goals from Niall Bonner helped Finn Harps ease their way into the next round of the FAI Cup against a battling Greystones at Ballybofey last night.
The Leinster Senior League team were more than a match for the first division side for much of the game and even stunned Harps when they took the lead in the 41st minute through Alan Wallace.
Their joy was shortlived, however, and two minutes later Johnny Kenny levelled the tie when he headed home from a corner.
Both sides had chances at the start of the second half, but Harps went ahead in the 71st minute when Brendan Devenney controlled Shane Sweeney's cross and fired in a volley from close range.
As the seconds ticked away, Bonner added a third in the 87th minute and two minutes later Paddy McGrenaghan added a fourth. Bonner completed the scoring in injury-time when he poked home past Eoin Finnerty in the Greystones goal.
