World Golf Rankings: Kenny Perry has edged ahead of Padraig Harrington in the latest world rankings, despite neither player being in action over the weekend.
Perry, taking a well-earned break after his runners-up spot at the Masters, moves to fifth with the Dubliner dropping back a spot due to the vagaries of the rankings system.
At sixth, Harrington remains the top-ranked Irish player with Rory McIlroy, who finished well down the field at the Verizon Heritage, and Graeme McDowell the only other players among the world’s top 50 players.
