It will be late this evening before Kerry reveal their team to face Galway. However, according to a popular clothes shop on the main street in Killarney, the return of Liam Hassett at centre forward in place of Denis O'Dwyer will be the only change from the team that started in the semi-final replay.
Since the start of the championship, the shop manager - who is a brother of full back Seamus Moynihan - has been displaying 15 teddy bears in the window, with names and numbers corresponding to Kerry's starting line-up. The centre forward teddy (i.e. O'Dwyer) has now been replaced by a new teddy (i.e. Hassett). Otherwise the team remains unchanged.
Could this be the start of a new trend in team announcements?
