BOXING: Ricky Hatton will not allow political problems to overshadow his bout with WBA welterweight champion Luis Collazo in Boston on May 13th.

A legal wrangle has left the status of the fight in doubt, with a New York judge due to determine whether Collazo's title will actually be on the line.

Irrespective of the outcome, Hatton insists he is relishing his meeting with the tricky southpaw.

Hatton said: "Whatever happens with the belt, if I beat Collazo I will have beaten a world welterweight champion. It would be sad if I did not pick up a title but I cannot do anything about it."
