Criquette Head was in cracking form at Longchamp yesterday where she completed a big race double with Occupandiste and Majorien. The filly Occupandiste notched her second big win of the campaign with victory in the Group One Prix de la Foret (7f). Clearly well suited by the soft ground, Olivier Doleuze's mount made all for an easy six-length win over the supplemented British raider and longshot Gothenberg.

Mme Head said: "Occupandiste has been aimed at this race since her win in the Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville in the summer. We will now consider the Breeders' Cup Mile, but it is worth bearing in mind that she likes a bit of cut."

Aidan O'Brien's Irish 1,000 Guineas winner, Classic Park, proved a big disappointment, finishing last of the 10 runners.

Earlier, Head's one time classic hope Majorien beat John Gosden's Tamure a length in the Group Two Prix du Conseil de Paris (12f).

Mark Johnston, Gothenberg's trainer, captured Italy's top juvenile prize yesterday, the Group One Gran Criterium (1m), with the impressive Lend A Hand (5 to 2) in Milan.

The Middleham raider slammed Paul Cole's Mowbray by nearly eight lengths, with Aidan O'Brien's Boldini (Seamus Heffernan) a neck further back in third.

Luso, Michael Kinane's mount in the Group One Gran Premio del Jockey Club (12f), was beaten almost two lengths by the German raider, Caitano (15 to 2), on the same card.
