Those who toil away for little money in sports journalism are only too aware of the gremlins that can infiltrate articles and it is with deepest sympathy that we note the Independent on Sunday's "exclusive" at the weekend.

Henderson's only change of kit these days as he recovers from knee surgery is when he dons the old tin of fruit for increasingly regular appearances as a television analyst on BBC and RT╔.
