High School - 25, King's Hospital - 5: King's Hospital put it up to High School in the early part of the game but were three points adrift at half-time as a result of an easy penalty by classy kicker Damian Vard.

King's Hospital had the better of it for most of the first half but could not make use of their territorial and lineout advantages. After half-time, High School sensed King's Hospital's weaknesses and took control of what seemed destined to be a low-scoring affair.

Winger Alex Feldman changed the pace of the game 12 minutes into the second half with a finely taken try which was converted by David Vard. Three further tries from Eoin McNally, Robbie Burns and another from Feldman secured the issue for High School. King's Hospital got a late try through Chris McClean with a fine blind-side move which was too wide to be converted.
