DAMON HILL could be axed from the Williams team for next season's Formula One championship according to a report in the motoring magazine Autosport.
Hill's employer Frank Williams is believed to have reached agreement with German driver Heinz Harold Frentzen, a source close to the team has revealed to Autosport.
The source is quoted as saying "I know that a deal with Frentzen .has already happened. I think it is wrong a guy like Hill goes in there and gives his all and then his feelings, his career and emotions are treated in this way."
The revelations come on the verge of the German Grand Prix on Sunday at Hockenheim, a race in which Hill will look to extend his 15 point lead in the championship after the disappointment of not finishing at Silverstone.
But both the Williams team and Michael Breen, Hill's manager, have denied the rumours insisting the British driver will not be moved out. Hill's contract ends this year.
