The Irish Hockey Association said yesterday they were awaiting advice from the Department of Agriculture and/or the Sports Council before deciding on their weekend plans, writes Mary Hannigan. The only major fixture involving crossBorder travel is the men's Irish Junior Cup semi-final between Ulster's Annadale and Leinster's Pembroke Wanderers in Belfast. Also in doubt is this weekend's Irish under-16 and under-18 girls' training in Dublin - 25 Ulster players feature in the two panels - while Saturday week's women's Irish Senior Cup final, involving Ulster sides Pegasus and Ballymoney, may yet be a casualty.
