INTERPROVINCIAL HURLING FINAL - Leinster 1-15 Munster 1-12:A SECOND-half goal from Richie Hogan was the turning point as Leinster produced a marvellous turnaround in the second half on Saturday evening. A small crowd witnessed a lively clash with Kilkenny forward Richie Power impressing for the winners.
Limerick's Andrew O'Shaughnessy gave Munster an early lead. Ben O'Connor sent over two points and with Eoin Kelly unerring from placed balls, Munster led 1-8 to 0-5 at the interval.
Leinster came out fighting as manager John Conran introduced Brian Hogan, Aidan Fogarty and Diarmuid Horan. This was to pay off as Hogan was involved in the goal scored by his namesake, Richie, to turn around the half-time deficit. Further points from Michael Rice and Richie Power ended the game as a contest with the Hogan goal proving decisive.
