Leinster MHC Round robin series/Kilkenny 2-18 Wexford 1-11: Richie Hogan demonstrated the art of finishing as he inspired Kilkenny to a 13-point victory at Wexford Park on Saturday.

Hogan was in inspirational form throughout and finished the game with a personal tally of 1-8 as Kilkenny dominated.

Leading 0-5 to 0-1 after nine minutes, Hogan struck for his goal after 24 to give his side a 1-12 to 0-5 lead at the interval. Keith Burke accounted for all of the home side's first-half points.

While Wexford showed some improvement on the resumption, and reduced the deficit to 1-13 to 0-9, it was a Martin Walsh goal five minutes from time which put the icing on the cake for the visitors who are now through to the semi-finals.
