St Peter's, Wexford provided weak opposition as the champions took control once they scored their first goal in the 18th minute through Barry Regan.

The highlight of the second half was a sublime 50th- minute goal by full forward Simon O'Connor, who expertly chipped the St Peter's goalkeeper Keith Rossiter.
