John Holland, coach of the lightweight double of Niall O'Toole and Derek Holland, flies out to South Africa tomorrow to join them at their training camp in Roodeplaat.

The double, contenders to represent Ireland at the Olympic qualification regatta in Lucerne in July, have been in South Africa for two weeks, having travelled out to train with South African crews. The Irish party will return in early February.

O'Toole and Holland represented Ireland as a lightweight double at the World Championships in Canada last year, but will have to compete at trials in March to win their right to compete in an Irish boat in Lucerne.
