John Lowey expects no favours - but plenty of partisan home support and judging - when he challenges Mexico's Erik Morales for the WBC super-bantamweight title tomorrow night in Tijuana.

Lowey's coach John Breen has been warned that the Mexicans will give the 31-year-old Belfast challenger a hot reception.

"An official in the Northern Ireland boxing council has told me that we can expect to face some dirty tricks," said Breen. "I've also been told that we can expect to go into the fight five rounds down." Lowey's only defeat, in 26 fights to date, came against American Kennedy McInney in a WBU title fight in August 1995.
