Dublin's finest find their feet
Dublin Colleges 2-13 - St Peter's, Wexford 0-14
The Dublin Colleges' team scored a valuable win at Dalkey yesterday to finish second in their group and book a quarterfinal meeting with Enniscorthy CBS.
The combined team had lost their two previous outings but an excellent 30 minutes' hurling had them 2-8 to 0-2 up at the interval. Early goals from Colm O Muirgheasa and David O'Callaghan, were followed by four points from Conal Keaney.
St Peter's improved in the second period, through the efforts of Darren Colbert and Liam Gough, but struggled to create openings.
